These big-band favorites work hard to keep the spirit of swing alive and thriving. This year, HRO has invited hard-hitting Detroit sax man and critics’ darling James Carter to mark their 10th anniversary as standard-bearers of Jacquet’s traditional closing night.

This is also the night to brush up your Lindy Hop for the annual contest to honor another late great legend, dancer Frankie Manning, during his worldwide centennial celebration.

To sign up for the Ambassador Prize Dance Contest, please email LindyHop@lincolncenter.org.

As this is a dance event, there is no seating.
